We are thrilled to announce a special collaboration between the Asian American Alliance, Inc., our esteemed partners and sponsors to commemorate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month in Indiana!

On Friday, May 3, we kicked off AAPI Month with the release of "Shining A Light" - a captivating light and sound show projected on the AES building to share our inspiring narrative. We would like to thank everyone who joined us at the reception at Barnes & Thornburg, followed by a walk to Monument Circle for the viewing of our captivating 3-minute video that beautifully encapsulates the essence of our community's legacy, achievements and cultural richness.

Didn’t catch the event on Friday? Additionally, throughout May, "Shining A Light," will illuminate the night sky every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10, 10:30 and 11 p.m. Joining this spectacle are special presentations of the Indy 500 and Salute A Hero videos, adding to the celebration of our shared heritage.

Mark your calendars for Asian Fest this Saturday on May 11, 2024! Join us at the Indiana Historical Society from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a day filled with arts, music, cultural exhibits, educational programs, henna and health screenings. This free event is open to all, so bring your friends and family along for a memorable experience.

There will be free parking provided by Indiana University Indianapolis specifically for event goers. See map below for designated parking areas.
